Memories of Deanna Dixon
I was new at TOHS and Deanna and I sat across from each other in Algebra II in summer school. She introduced herself to me and we joked around a lot. She was always sweet to me and the for the first time I didn't feel invisible as a teenager. She always stopped me in the halls or when we ran into each other in town. She always greeted me with a smile. I have no idea when or how she passed. I saw her notice of classmates that passed at a large reunion (Classes of 1968-1972) memory book sent to the attendees. She shouldn't be forgotten. I never will.
Deanna was always such a happy person who shined everywhere that she was. She was kind and friendly to me always. The last time I saw her was at a coffee shop in Hollywood late one night around 1978. She was with two other girls that I did not recognize. I always wondered how she died. If anybody has any information about her, please let me know. It's such a mystery!
